The goals of professional assessment are to determine readiness for residential treatment, to determine whether the Business & Industry Clinic’s programs are a good match for the employee, and to provide information to the prospective client about the program.
Before confirming a treatment date, we require the following information:
- Application form
- Referral form (included in application link)
- Medical by physician (included in application link)
- Assessment if completed pre-admission
Once you have determined a client is ready and motivated to attend a 12 step, abstinent based treatment program please call Cory, Admissions Counsellor at (780) 538-6316 to determine the next available treatment date.
All 30 day clients will spend 48 hours in detox prior to their treatment start date for an assessment period. Additional days in detox can be pre-arranged.
All 50 day clients spend 5 days in detox where they will participate in a “Pre treatment week” of programming. Half days are spent in detox and half days are spent with the Business & Industry Clinic staff to ease clients into the full swing of treatment.
ALL CLIENTS MUST HAVE 5 DAYS SOBRIETY PRIOR TO THE TREATMENT START DATE. Clients who do not have their sobriety may be asked to leave and return at a later date. Arrangements can be made for detoxification or safe keeping, please speak with Cory for further information.
